Seventeen set another record on the Billboard Main chart.
Billboard released a chart preview article on May 9th, it revealed that “With their 10th mini album ‘FML’, Seventeen ranked second on the main album chart ‘Billboard 200’ after Morgan Wallen, who held the top spot for 9 weeks”
It recorded its highest ranking. Seventeen's 4th regular repackage album 'Sector 17', released in July last year, ranked 4th on the 'Billboard 200', their previous best record.
‘Billboard 200’ is ranked by adding the number of physical album sales, the number of digital music downloads converted to album sales (TEA), and the number of streams converted to album sales (SEA).
According to Billboard, Seventeen's physical album sales are 132,000 copies. The streaming conversion figure was counted as 3,000 copies.
‘FML’ is an album that comforts the conflicts and wanderings of youth. It contains a message of positivity and support to fight and overcome without being buried in negative thoughts even in bad situations.
Seventeen also set a career-high with this album. It became the only artist to sell more than 3 million copies on the first day of release. Initial Chodong sales recorded 4,550,214 copies.
It was also very popular in Japan. ‘FML’ sold over 552,000 copies in the first week alone. It also topped Oricon's weekly album rankings and weekly digital album rankings.
