CongTV went on to address some of the accusations, pointing out that Alfonso, Cavite Mayor Randy Salamat was the one who introduced them to the owner of the business they are endorsing.
He emphasized that he would never take advantage of his followers and that the allegations were baseless.
In response, CongTV reposted the screenshot of the netizen's accusation on his Facebook page, adding a caption that read: "Hindi ako sumasagot sa issue pero kung paparatangan mo kaming magnanakaw. Oops Stahp."
The post received more than 40,000 reactions and almost 5,000 shares on Facebook.
Despite some followers poking fun at the post and the issue, CongTV remains one of the most popular YouTubers in the Philippines, with more than 11 million subscribers since he started in 2008.
He is known for his quirky, inspiring, and realistic vlogs, making him loved by his followers.
CongTV and Viy Cortez were also nominated for the PUSH Awards "Power Couple" last year alongside other well-known personalities.
