After two years of fallout, Vice Ganda and Billy Crawford reunited in the popular noontime program "It's Showtime" on Thursday, Nov. 9.
The reunion brought tears to the studio audience when Billy, his wife Coleen Garcia, and their two-year-old son Amari appeared on stage for the noontime show. Vice Ganda immediately approached the couple and said hello to Amari.
In November 2021, it was reported that Vice Ganda and Billy were not following each other on Instagram anymore.
It started when news about Vice Ganda allegedly throwing shade at Billy surfaced. That time Billy had left ABS-CBN and “It’s Showtime!” for TV5 to host “Masked Singer Pilipinas” and its rival noontime show “Launch Out Loud.”
But Billy made it clear that he left ABS-CBN only after his contract with the network expired and that he didn't burn bridges.
"Lingid po sa kaalaman ninyo, okay na okay na kami ni Billy. Basta okay na kami," said Vice Ganda. "Tapos, bigla kong naisip yung concept ng healing. Knowing that the madlang people know we're okay, baka mag-inspire ito sa inyo na mag-heal din. It's about time na baka kaya n'yo na rin di ba na makipag reconcile sa taong mahalagang mahalaga sa inyo.
"Kasi si Billy is one very important person sa buhay ko. At the end of day, you are my best friend and I love you very much. Regalo natin ito sa madlang people na makita nilang magkakasama tayo uli," Vice Ganda said.
The ace comedian said that Billy really made an effort to join the noontime program today, Thursday, despite his hectic schedule.
