Korean band DAY6 is set to reunite as a complete group for a special year-end concert. DAY6 will reportedly hold a solo concert at Seoul's Hwajeong Gymnasium at the end of December.
This concert holds significant meaning as it marks the band's first musical performance as a complete team following their individual mandatory military service periods. Leader, vocalist, and guitarist Sungjin completed his military service in September last year, while vocalist and bassist Young K finished his military duty in April of this year. Drummer Dowoon was discharged from the army in July, and Wonpil, the first idol singer to enlist in the navy, transitioned to civilian life on November 27.
This upcoming concert will be DAY6's first face-to-face group concert with fans, known as My Day, in four years since their December 2019 performance. Their existing songs, like "You Were Beautiful" and "Time of Our Life", gained renewed popularity during their "military break," resulting in high expectations for ticket demand as new fans join their existing fanbase.
The concert is also expected to feature live stages that have never been revealed before, further heightening anticipation among prospective audiences. Before their highly anticipated concert, DAY6 will appear on KBS Cool FM's 'DAY6's Kiss the Radio' hosted by Young K at 10 PM on November 28.
