Will G-Dragon make a comeback with brand new music after clearing his name in the drug allegations?
On November 28, G-Dragon uploaded a video on his Instagram that featured music from the track "Divina Commedia" (Outro. 신곡; sin-gok)" from his 2017 album 'Kwon Ji Yong.'
In the video, G-Dragon sings, "Do you know who I am?" Notably, the Korean title "Sin-Gok" means "New Song," which is causing excitement among fans expecting G-Dragon to release a new track.
Additionally, the song, which is played in the video, is a work inspired by Dante Alighieri's 'Divine Comedy.' Similar to how Dante portrayed his hardships, despair, and passion for salvation in the 'Divine Comedy,' G-Dragon also reflects on his journey to becoming a superstar at a young age through this song. He also conveys a hopeful message, saying, "We each live in our own world (on stage), planning, producing, scripting, directing, and starring in (our dreams). 'Unreality is hyper-reality.'"
In January, G-Dragon also announced that he would return with a new album through the YG's YouTube channel. He stated, "I plan to meet you through various activities this year. An album is also in preparation."
