The first trial of actor Yoo Ah In, who was indicted without detention on charges of drug administration, will be held on the December 12.
According to the court on December 10, the Criminal Agreement Department 25-1 of the Seoul Central District Court (Chief Judge Park Jung Gil, Park Jung Je, Ji Gwi Yeon) will hold the first trial on the morning of the December 12.
The day is a formal trial date on which the accused is obligated to attend, and the accused is expected to appear in court for the first time since the indictment.
Originally, the court was scheduled to hold its first hearing on the November 14, but Yoo Ah In's lawyer submitted an application for a change of the date to the court and it was postponed once. It is said that Yoo Ah In asked for a change of the date due to the tight preparation period.
In addition, as previously reported, the lawyer's appointment also submitted, four additional lawyers were appointed, and an application for a trial preparation date was also submitted.
Previously, the prosecution indicted Yoo Ah In on charges of habitual propofol use, illegal acquisition of prescription sleeping pills in the name of another person, marijuana smoking and distribution, and evidence tampering on October 19.
