Actor Lee Sun Gyun confessed that he had snorted substances through his nose using a straw but thought he was taking sleeping pills.
According to JTBC reports on December 26, Lee Sun Gyun explained, "I snorted using a straw through my nose but thought it was a sleeping pill. I didn't know it was a drug."
Previously, the entertainment establishment manager 'A' claimed that Lee Sun Gyun had inhaled ketamine powder and also provided specific dates and locations in which the actor used drugs. She claimed, "I saw Lee Sun Gyun snort ketamine powder using a straw. He expressed curiosity when I mentioned ketamine, so I procured it for him, and he then used it," implying Lee Sun Gyun was aware that he was snorting drugs.
Nevertheless, Lee Sun Gyun continues to deny all allegations and claims that he thought the substance provided by 'A' was sleeping pills.
Korean netizens have become baffled by the actor's latest claims and gathered in a popular online community where they could react to his statement. Korean netizens commented, "Is he not ashamed after saying that?" "Does he think we're dumb?" "Who snorts sleeping pills through the nose?" "Who takes sleeping pills like that?" "Does he think he's still filming a comedy movie," "??," "What is he saying?" "He's proving himself to be so dumb," "Please get yourself together," "He's further embarrassing himself," "Never heard this excuse before," "Wow, such nonsense," and "What? Sleeping pills through the nose?"
