The pop-up store of the group (G)I-DLE successfully concluded.
From the 2nd to the 19th, the pop-up store '(G)I-DLE Super Lady POP-UP' to commemorate the release of (G)I-DLE’s (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua) second full album 'I love' was held at the Pop Square on the second floor of Line Friends Square in Sinsa.
The pop-up store proved its hot popularity from the opening day, attracting a huge crowd. Within just five days of opening, 5,000 people visited, and some products were sold out early, demonstrating the explosive interest of fans.
Especially, the pop-up store was decorated with a 'Super Lady' theme that brought the album concept to life through a harmony of silver and black. It targeted fans' tastes with a range of attractions and products, including the actual album jacket costumes worn by (G)I-DLE, diverse photo zones, albums, photo cards, keyrings, sticker packs, posters, and more.
The pop-up store introduced in Taipei on the 7th with IPX (formerly Line Friends) also manifested (G)I-DLE's global presence. Before opening, about 500 people lined up, creating a spectacular scene of the area being paralyzed. Moreover, until the closure, the momentum continued without interruption in nine cities including Shanghai and Hangzhou, China, on the 8th, maintaining the global fever.
Through the pop-up store, (G)I-DLE has demonstrated their strong potential with this comeback. They not only achieved career highs by becoming two-time million sellers following their number one rankings on global music charts but also won music show trophies without appearing twice in a row on MBC M’s 'Show! Champion' and Mnet’s 'M Countdown', rising to a triple crown in music broadcasts.
Meanwhile, (G)I-DLE's pop-up store plans to sequentially open globally in locations such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney, and Melbourne.
