Starship Entertainment had their official YouTube channels hacked.
On March 4, the channels affiliated with artists under Starship Entertainment fell victim to hacking. A particularly notable case was the unauthorized renaming of IVE's channel to 'SpaceX.'
This unauthorized alteration not only involved changing IVE's YouTube channel name to 'SpaceX' but also resulted in the removal of all associated videos.
IVE's channel, which has 3.37 million subscribers, experienced this setback, and subscribers were also unable to access content from MONSTA X and CRAVITY due to the cyberattack.
CRAVITY's channel, however, managed to restore the music video for their title track, "Love Or Die," from their 7th mini-album 'EVERSHINE,' which had been released just a week prior.
Starship Entertainment has since assured the public that they are actively engaging with YouTube to address this issue.
Starship Entertainment stated, "We're currently dealing with an unexpected hacking of our artists' official YouTube channels. We're working closely with YouTube to fix the problem and get everything back on track as soon as we can. Sorry for any inconvenience this might cause."
