Actor Kang Tae Oh is set to complete his mandatory service and will be discharged from active duty in the Army on March 19 KST. Kang Tae Oh began his military journey by entering the 37th Division Recruit Training Center in Jeungpyeong-gun, North Chungcheong Province on September 20, 2022. After undergoing basic military training, he served as an assistant at the recruit training center.
Before his enlistment, Kang Tae-oh was widely beloved for his role as Lee Jun Ho in ENA's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo'. However, he made the decision to put his acting career on hold to fulfill his military duty.
Reflecting on his time in the military, Kang Tae Oh expressed gratitude for the experiences gained during his service. "After finishing ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo,’ I received a lot of love from many people and enlisted in the military," he shared. "I spent the last of my 20s and the first of my 30s in the military, and I decided to change my bad habits and acquire only good things. It was a deep time."
Looking forward to his future activities post-discharge, Kang Tae Oh expressed his determination to return to the entertainment industry with a positive image. "I will greet you with a good image and work in the future, so please show a lot of anticipation and love," he stated.
