While the group BLACKPINK is cruising through the largest world tour of a K-pop girl group, it has been confirmed that an additional concert will be held in Paris thanks to the enthusiastic response of French fans.
On March 23rd, YG Entertainment posted a poster for the Paris encore performance of 'BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR 'BORN PINK'' on BLACKPINK's official SNS. According to this, Blackpink plans to breathe with fans once again with the first performance on July 15th.
This Paris encore concert will be held at Stade De France, the largest concert hall in France. It is more than twice as large as the concert held at the Accor Arena in Paris in December 2022, becoming the first K-pop female artist to enter a European stadium that can accommodate more than 80,000 people.
At this venue, popular pop stars such as Beyonce, Madonna, Lady Gaga, and Rihanna have left their footprints, making Blackpink's powerful global status and ticket power anew.
YG raised fans' expectations by saying, "As it is a meaningful concert to reunite with local fans, we will show a stage with a higher level of perfection."
BLACKPINK is currently carrying out the largest world tour of a K-pop girl group, attracting about 1.5 million people. After successfully completing 14 North American concerts in 7 cities and 10 European tours in 7 cities last year, they are heading to Asia to meet more fans. They will also perform as headliners at the 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival' in the US in April and the 'Hyde Park British Summertime Festival' in the UK in July.
