The group BLACKPINK is considering performing at a state dinner for President Seok-yeol Yoon and President Joe Biden of the United States.
On March 28th, an official from YG Entertainment, told My Daily, "Blackpink received an offer (for a dinner performance) and it's under review."
Ahead of President Yoon Seok-yeol's state visit to the United States scheduled for the end of April, it is known that both Korea and the United States are planning a joint cultural event in which famous singers will attend. Blackpink and Lady Gaga are coordinating a plan to perform together under the theme of 'Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the ROK-US Alliance'.
Blackpink collaborated with Lady Gaga in 2020 by participating in "Sour Candy," a song from her 6th album. As a result, attention is focused on whether the two artists will be together once again.
