Jimin (BTS) confessed his feelings of stagnation during the pandemic.
On March 9th, Vogue released an interview and pictorial with Jimin. Jimin wore a pink suit and took his photo shoot. However, Jimin said, "I like simple, plain clothes," and revealed that he tried out colorful outfits.
BTS has won the US Billboard No. 1, Grammy Award nominations, and the American Music Award grand prize. BTS, which has been busy, started the second chapter focusing on solo activities at the same time as Jin's enlistment in December of last year.
However, Jimin said, "We had a hard time at first too. We fought. It was our first social activities life. But now, I think that is so fortunate counting with all our members."
In addition, Jimin said, "Because I'm young, I don't think it's easy to be honest with my friends except for the members. There are many times when I don't feel comfortable because I feel like I'm pretending, and sometimes I feel not enough. It feels so good being able to be completely honest when talking with the members." Also, Jimin revealed his life after becoming a superstar in Korea.
He also revealed his candid feelings about the failure to win the Grammy Award. Jimin said, "It is something that is not that impossible. But I never thought we will get nominated! I hoped to make our fans happy with a victory. But just being nominated is a pleasure in itself, and if possible, I'll go back there and let my voice be heard." he said.
About the time of the pandemic, Jimin confessed, "Two years were longer than I thought. All I've done in the past is this (stage). I just wanted to do it well, so I worked hard, but when I couldn't do it(during the pandemic), I felt sad that 2 years of days of my life were denied."
Jimin, who has various concerns about his voice, said, “It is difficult to be satisfied with my vocals. I like songs with a lot of technique, but it is difficult to control and it becoming painful during life, so I am looking for a way." he said.
"So I'm going back to the beginning. I'm trying to be simple. The process is difficult but fun, the youngest (Jungkook) is doing well as the main vocalist, and while we having these conversations, we worry together. I'm happy with those conversations and worries." Jimin says, showing the continued teamwork of BTS.
Meanwhile, on march 24th, Jimin will release his first solo album 'FACE'. Prior to this, on march 17th, the b-side song 'Set Me Free Pt.2' will be released in advance.
