BTS Jungkook demolishes a 7.6 billion won house in Itaewon and builds a new 5-story mansion.

 Jungkook, a member of BTS, is building a five-story mansion in Itaewon.

It has been confirmed that Jungkook is building a mansion with two basement floors and three floors above ground by demolishing the detached house he purchased for 7.63 billion won in 2020.

The size of the new detached house reaches a total floor area of 1161.04m2, a site area of 633.05m2, and a building area of 348.05m2. The projected completion date is May 31 next year.

Earlier, in July of last year, Jungkook received a building permit for a new detached house from the Yongsan-gu Office, and after the demolition of the existing building, construction of a new house began.

The area around Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, where Jungkook's mansion is located, is one of Korea's representative wealthy villages. It is a typical Baesanimsu site with Namsan Mountain to the north and the Han River to the south.

It is highly preferred among wealthy people because of its beautiful natural scenery, excellent location, and private life. Many political and business figures and celebrities live in Itaewon-dong and Hannam-dong. Five detached houses and offices of the late Samsung Group Chairman Lee Kun-hee were located, as well as Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-Yong and Samsung Welfare Foundation Chairman Lee Seo-hyun.

The residences of SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, Shinsegae Group Chairman Lee Myung-hee, Nongshim Group Chairman Shin Dong-won, DB Group Founding Chairman Kim Jun-ki, Hyundai Motor Company Chairman Chung Eui-sun, and Kumho Petrochemical Chairman Park Chan-koo are also located there.

Meanwhile, in July 2018, Jungkook purchased an apartment in Seongsu-dong, Seoul Forest Trimaze for 1.95 billion won, and in July 2019, an apartment in Yongsan-dong, Yongsan City Park, for 2.98 billion won. Later, in October 2020, two years after purchasing Trimaze, it was sold for 2.05 billion won. In December 2020, two months after that, it was reported that he gave the Yongsan City Park apartment to his older brother.
