Seoul National University Children's Hospital announced on April 18th that Jungkook delivered 1 billion won for sick children and their families on April 14th. The donation will be used for the treatment of children from low-income families and for the integrated care center project.
At Seoul, National University Children's Hospital, children with severe and rare incurable diseases, childhood cancer, and leukemia from all over the country are being treated. In particular, the hospital operates an integrated care center to help not only patients with illnesses but also holistic recovery for them and their families. However, the hospital explained that it is difficult to maintain the integrated care center project without sponsorship from the perspective of the children's hospital, which is already running a deficit.
In this situation, a hospital official emphasized that Jungkook's donation would be a great comfort to the patients and family.
Choi Eun-hwa, director of Seoul National University Children's Hospital, said, "Caring for a child's health is like determining the child's entire life. Sponsorship is an investment in the future and hope, as well as a gift of relief and peace to tired families." All members of the Children's Hospital will do their best to bring our children back home, school, and family and friends in good health."
Jungkook said, "I hope that it will be of some help to children who are suffering, and I support them so that they can smile healthily."
