On the 30th, Top posted a photo on his official instagram account. He wrote "Still making my albums." while appearing to be working on his music. The photo has led to speculation that Top is working on a solo album. Top, who hasn't released a solo album since his 2013 diginal single "Doom dada", is speculated to be gearing up for his first solo activity in 10 years. It's not the first time that Top is rumored to be working on music. In June of last year he was seen creating content to mark the start of his solo career. At the time, Top posted a picture on Instagram and wrote "being alone" and "I'm also working on music", hinting at a solo comeback. One of the reason why there is no much interest in wheter or not Top will come back solo is because of his past comments about not making a comeback in Korea. In 2020, Top said during a live broadcast, "I'm not coming back in Korea. I don't even want to come back. My friends are kicking me out. Nowadays, I make music. People are so mean. Have love, peace." he said. Also in 2019, a user commented that Top shouldn't make a comeback, to which he replied "Yeah, I'm not going to either, just look at the animal photos", before deleting it. Top resumed his activities in April of last year and released "Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter" with his fellow BIGBANG members. He was relesed from his contract with this former agency, YG Entertainment. Meanwhile, in October 2016, Top received a suspended sentence for allegedly smoking electronic cigaretes with cannabis.
