TWICE's Jihyo has released her solo debut song "Killin' Me Good" and is connecting with fans as a solo artist.
Jihyo will release her first mini album "ZONE" on August 18 at 1 p.m. ET, marking her second solo debut as a member of TWICE after Nayeon.
JYP Entertainment surprisingly released an announcement video on its official social media channels at 0:00 a.m. on August 26th, attracting the attention of Global ONCE. The mosaic screen, which partially obscured Jihyo's face, was filled with colorful scenes of flickering candles, sparkling heart lights, shattered glass, and crashing waves, while the sentence "You're making me feel" above her captivating eyes raised curiosity about the secret message behind her solo song "Killin' Me Good.
"ZONE" and "Killin' Me Good" were revealed to be the title and title of Jihyo's solo debut album, respectively. Jihyo, who showed off her skills as a solo artist by performing her self-written song "Nightmare" at TWICE's new world tour "READY TO BE" in Seoul, will make her debut in August with an album under her own name.
TWICE is building precious memories with fans at home and abroad with their fifth world tour "READY TO BE," which is scheduled for 38 concerts in 22 cities around the world. The group became the first female group to enter SoFi Stadium and sold out their Los Angeles concert with a total of 50,000 people, and their upcoming solo concerts in Bangkok, Thailand on September 23 and Bulacan, Philippines on September 30 are also sold out. In particular, tickets for the Philippine Arena concert, which seats about 40,000 people, sold out very quickly as soon as they went on sale, prompting the group to add an emergency concert on October 1, which also sold out quickly, bringing the total number of fans in the Philippines to 80,000.
Meanwhile, TWICE leader Jihyo's first solo album "ZONE" and the title track "Killin' Me Good" will be released simultaneously on August 18 at 1 p.m. worldwide.
