Artist Juan Karlos Labajo's single "ERE" from his latest album "Sad Songs and Bulls**t Part 1" became the first Filipino song to debut on the music streaming platform's global chart Spotify.
Chart Data shares that "ERE" debuted at number 177 on the Spotify global chart thanks to 1.22 million streams, the first time a Philippine song has appeared in the chart . It was also reported that “ERE” was the first Filipino artist to achieve over 1 million streams in a few days and even climbed to 87th place in the global chart after another 230,000 streams.
Labajo has yet to directly comment on his song's latest achievements, but he did repost on his Instagram Story showing "ERE"'s recent milestones.
The singer's "Senior High" co-star, Andrea Brillantes, also retweeted Chart Data's post on X (formerly Twitter) using a shock emoji to express her praise.
“ERE” was released on Spotify on August 4, nearly 50 days before the full release of “Sad Songs and Bulls**t Part 1” on the platform.
