Alden Richards and Julia Montes's "Five Break-Ups And A Romance." had even the actors drool like fans.

Aubrey Carampel reported on "24 Oras," Wednesday, that the star-studded audience applauded and stood ovate the film's premiere.

Sharon Cuneta, the sole Megastar, was proud of Alden and Julia, her "kids."

"It's a beautiful love story na alam mo 'yung hindi OA, very real, very realistic, tapos ang galing ng performances nilang dalawa, so I'm very proud of my kids, iyan ang daughter and son ko," added.

Shaira Diaz, EA Guzman, Sanya Lopez, Jo Berry, Rodjun Cruz, Bianca Umali, and Ruru Madrid attended the premiere.

"Grabe 'yung rawness nung acting ni Alden at saka ni Julia, damang-dama mo," added Shaira.

"Naiiyak ako pero kailangan kong pigilan kasi 'yung katabi ko hindi ko matapik," said Sanya.

Jo liked how the film reframed breakups, whereas Rodjun commented, "Umpisa pa lang, pasabog na."

Friends and fans continued to support the movie on its Sparkle block screening, which Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza attended.

GMA Network, Inc. Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Sparkle Vice President Joy Marcelo, and GMA Director Dominic Zapata attended the Sparkle block screening.

Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes was thrilled after the viewing. "Talagang hindi nila napigilan na pumalakpak sa ending, so I'm very happy na nagustuhan nila 'yung pelikula," remarked.

Alden and Julia appreciated the praise. "Sana kung ano 'yung effect ngayon sa mga tao na nanoood, ganon din sa mga makakanood pa," remarked Alden.

"So this time mapakita namin sa kanila yung masterpiece ni Direk Irene, and then maparamdam namin kung gaano ito ka-special sa amin, dun pa lang panalo na kami dun," Julia said.

"Sana nagustuhan nila, sana naantig sila kahit papaano, 'yun, at sana masabi nila sa lahat ng tao," said movie director Irene Villamor.

The movie "Five Break-Ups and a Romance" premieres nationwide on Wednesday.

Last April, Julia and Alden announced their first project together, making entertainment headlines.

The movie teased an emotional scene drop last month, garnering millions of social media views. Fans were also excited by a brief Julia-Alden kiss.
