Before she met her now-husband, the scientist Monty Blencowe, Lovi Poe disclosed that she enjoyed her independence and had no intention of settling down. 

Yesterday, the "Batang Quiapo" star participated in an intimate press event for the debut of Imono's newest jewelry collection, which she endorses. 

Lovi Poe stood out in a corset and lace ensemble while wearing necklaces and accessories from the newest collection. 

She was asked why Monty stood out to her and why she chose to accept his proposal.

"Comparing people isn't really my style or my thing, but I would just like to say that there's a reason why Monty is my husband," she introduced herself. 

She stated that there are numerous factors to consider when choosing a partner. Then, she noticed characteristics in Monty that made her see herself in him.

Lovi also disclosed that she was not the type to marry and was content with her single status. 

Simply put, let's say it this way. I never anticipated settling down. And I would always say that I wouldn't give in to, you know, everyone saying that you have to get married at a certain age, even though I was never under any duress to do so. 

"I was genuinely quite content by myself. So let's put it this way. Lovi stated, "I'm happier when I'm with Monty." 

The publicist Jun Lalin also related a story regarding Lovi's spouse. He attended Lovi and Monty's wedding in England last August. 

"When Monty discovered I was in Beverly Hills, he said, "Si." He requested that Lovi meet with me. Monty desires to encounter everyone who is close to Lovi and who is devoted to her. Already from the very beginning... Ipapakita niyang aklat sa mga mahal at nagmamahal kay Lovi."

Lovi confirmed and stated that her husband makes an effort to become acquainted with the individuals in her life. 

"I mean, he makes an effort for each individual in my life. My staff is aware. It's fortunate that it's not only about me and him. It pertains to everyone who is a part of our lives. He ensures that all parties are included. Therefore, I appreciate it," she said. 

Lovi returned to the Philippines promptly after her wedding in August. She has not seen Monty since their last encounter, but she indicated that she would likely make arrangements to see him this Christmas. 

Currently, she portrays Mokang in the nighttime action-drama "Batang Quiapo."
