After a two-week hiatus, the popular noontime program "It's Showtime" returns with a flourish, as today's episode and hosts trended on social media platforms.
"Yes, we're back, and we've missed you so much, Madlang People!" exclaimed the presenter Vice Ganda upon their return.
The show's return episode broadcast earlier today, on October 28.
"The twelve days have concluded. We don't mourn this person. "Recovery is a reality," he added.
He was accompanied on stage by his co-hosts Anne Curtis, Ogie Alcasid, Kim Chiu, Karylle, Amy Perez, Ryan Bang, Ion Perez, and Jhong Hilario during his opening remarks.
"Ang saya sabihin na kami nakapahinga, fully charged kaming lahat para pasayahin ang Madlang People natin!" Vice commented.
In addition to the usual numbers, Arianah Kelsey was dubbed the very first winner of the Mini Miss U segment.
The beleaguered noontime show drew the attention of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) after the board said it received complaints from several viewers, including the episode of July 25, 2023 in which hosts and real-life couple Vice Ganda and Ion Perez were seen licking cake frosting from their fingers.
