Former Girls' Generation member Jessica is making a comeback after six years.
Jessica will release her fourth mini-album, "Beep Beep," on the 22nd. "Beep Beep" marks her first new release in six years since her third mini-album, "My Decade," in 2018, and it includes six tracks, including the title track with the same name.
Known for her unique, soothing, and captivating vocals, Jessica has been regarded as the lead singer since her time with Girls' Generation. After leaving the group in 2014, she started her solo career with the first mini-album, "With Love, J," in 2016, and released several albums, including "Fly," "Wonderland," and "Summer Storm," showcasing her unique musical style. However, her focus gradually shifted to other ventures, particularly her business endeavors with her boyfriend Tyler Kwon, such as Blanc & Eclare. Since her transition to Coridel Entertainment, her activities in the entertainment industry have been limited. Therefore, her return to her music career after such a long hiatus has her fans excited.
Furthermore, opinions are divided regarding the fact that this comeback is more focused on the Asian market, particularly targeting Asia rather than Korea. After releasing her album, Jessica is set to continue her "Diamond Dream" tour in locations such as Singapore and Macao. Domestic performances are yet to be confirmed. This has led to speculations that her endeavors are more geared towards the Chinese-speaking market than her domestic Korean fans.
