The Defense Ministry Korea's killed in action recovery agency is an organization that excavates the remains of the Korean War dead and sends them to their families. RM, who will be appointed as an ambassador, will participate in activities to inform the public about the project in various ways.

Previously, Seo Kyung-duk, a professor at Sungshin Women's University, was first appointed as an ambassador in 2016. In 2021, Song Hae served as an ambassador.

BTS, of which RM is a member, has been focusing on their personal activities since the 'Busan 2030 World Expo Bid Concert' held in October last year due to their sequential enlistment.
