BTS's J-Hope has reportedly been selected as an assistant instructor at a recruit training center.
According to a news report on the 31st, an army official said, "(J-Hope) was selected as a recruit training assistant after the personnel evaluation. After passing a certain period of educational qualification certification evaluation, he will perform his assistant duties."
Earlier, J-Hope completed the basic military education training course as a trainee of the 23rd-5th recruit training unit of the 36th Infantry Division of the Army in Wonju, Gangwon Province, on April 24 and was awarded the rank of second lieutenant. He will remain at the 36th Infantry Division Recruit Training Center for the remainder of his military career as a teaching assistant until he retires.
J-Hope's selection as an assistant is the second after his eldest brother Jin, who enlisted first, was selected as an assistant at the Army's 5th Infantry Division Recruit Training Center in Yeoncheon County, Gyeonggi Province.
Meanwhile, J-Hope entered the training center on March 18 and received training on various skills required to be a soldier.
