The arrest warrant for rapper Ravi (30, Kim Won-sik), accused of attempting to evade military service by forging an epilepsy diagnosis through a 'military service broker' (violation of the Military Service Act), has been dismissed.

 On March 6th, Seoul Southern District Court Chief Judge Kim Ji-sook, in charge of warrants, conducted an interrogation (warrant review) of the suspect before the arrest that will be held on the same day according to an arrest warrant for Ravi that was requested on March 2nd. Kim Jisook said, “In light of the objective evidence collected so far, it is difficult to see that the suspect who admits the charges is at risk of escaping and destroying evidence,  in order to this “The arrest warrant was dismissed.  

 Previously, in the process of appraise the mobile phone of Mr. Gu X, a military service broker, the prosecution found out the circumstances in which Ravi asked Mr. Goo for advice on military service and received broker’s advice.  Documents related to Ravi's military service were also found.  After receiving a false diagnosis of epilepsy at a designated hospital, a group of males received a military service exemption or  lower military service grade adjustment based on this, and it was confirmed that Ravi also lowered his physical grade using the same method.

 Regarding this, Groovlin, Ravi's agency, said "We are sincerely cooperating with the investigation process." "Please understand that we cannot provide details at this stage. We will provide more details later.”

 Meanwhile, Nafla (31, Choi Seok-bae), another rapper from Ravi's agency Groovlin, is also entangled with the same military service broker.  He was arrested on the 22nd of last month on suspicion of attempting to evade military service by manipulating attendance records of social workers.
